In 2020, as the world paused during the pandemic, Sihanoukville quieted down overnight. Renters returned home, our rental spaces sat vacant, and our family faced our toughest test yet. But tough times reveal new beginnings. Instead of looking at empty buildings as a loss, we saw an opportunity to build something of our own.
In 2022, with zero staff and pure determination, we opened Peng Long Guesthouse with just 8 humble rooms—cleaning, checking in guests, and managing everything ourselves. The turning point arrived when a touring motorcycle group booked every single room in one evening, filling our halls with laughter and life again.
By adding two more levels, we grew into a thriving 24-room retreat. In 2025, we expanded our hospitality by opening Peng Long Restaurant, delivering fresh home-style meals to complement every guest’s stay.
